Scripture of the Week

John 15:18-20 (New King James Version)

The World’s Hatred

18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

We invite you to come out and spend some time in the word with us every Sunday morning starting at 11:00 am.

We meet at the Vero Beach Womans Club located at 1534 21st Street. Right across the street from the downtown library and Courthouse.

So now when life is going rough, people are against you and things don’t look so clear do you have doubts? Where has your trust gone? Where has your faith gone?

It is in times like these when our Faith and Trust in God are tested that we see if we really want to be his disciples. Are you really prepared to go through the persecution. It is extremely hard to see the purpose of your current situation but rest assured that in the end you will endure and the glory will be given God.

The key to getting through the tough times is knowing that God always provides what is best for us. He will never leave us and he will never gives us more than we can handle.

If you do not have a personal relationship with God through his son Jesus, we encourage you to learn more about who he is and how he can bring change into your life if you will open your heart to him. People may have let you down in the past but God will never let you down.

If you call yourself a Christian than the life you are living is not your own. You have turned it over to God.

You turned it over because you believed that he could do more in your life than you could ever imagine. You turned it over because you trusted him and his word.

You turned it over because you had faith in the promises you read in the bible.
